Today was beautiful! The weather was beauuuuuuuutiful and the day was beautiful too. Before we went to church we took a few pictures. I haven't been able to enjoy the beautiful weather for the last few days with the move on my mind. I've been overwhelmed with the move coming up, my mom and sister visiting, going to Korea and all that; my mind is on overdrive. As we pulled out of the driveway to go to church, I looked out the window and thought to myself, "this is one of our last Sunday's here in DC, I should really enjoy what I have right now at the moment." So I took some pictures of the beautiful fall colors that have started to come through. Isn't it so pretty?
When you see beautiful things, you feel so warm and delightful on the inside. I guess baby SJ also loves trees like mommy. Look at him. He is holding a leaf in his hand.
Today at church, I learned something really important. We should not judge others but be kind to people. One of the hymns that I like says, "Who am I to judge another, when I walk imperfectly?" In a discussion someone said, we don't know what's going on in other people's lives, we can't be quick to judge. I thought, that's so true. We don't know what circumstance others are in, what they're going through and what they're thinking. When it comes to judging our own mistakes, we are so generous, but with others we are tough and quick. I like people and love serving people. But I sometimes can be selfish. We all try to be better each day and I try because I am imperfect and want to be a good example to SJ. I want my baby SJ to be kind to others. This is the video that I watched few years ago that came across my mind that I want to share here as well.
"Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me"
