First day of the year

There's a New Year tradition here in Korea; people go some where special to watch the first sun rise of the year. When you see the sun rise, that's when you make a wish or your new year resolutions.
Since we're the type of people who like to try new things, we decided to celebrate the New Year in that respectful tradition. I researched for popular places to catch the sunrise. There were a few options. We could drive or take a train to the the coast but I wondered, "do I want to freeze to death?" Nope. Another option was to stay at a resort on the coast and watch the sunrise in the hotel while enjoying the spa. We get private spa in a room and it was all glass window. It was over $600 since it was a very special day. "Do I want to spend that much?" Nope. Or we could hike up the mountain. Very NOPE! The last solution. Han River Cruise! It was only $20 per person, we only had to drive 30 minutes to get to the harbor. The cruise was only an hour and a half long of a ride. We can watch the sunrise inside or outside on the deck. Perfect! So here we are as a family for the first time; we watched the sunrise of the New Year. Year of the Horse!

We wrote our resolutions and hung on them on a balloon and let it go at the end of the countdown

What a beautiful scene

Long time No blog...

WOW! It has been a while since I last blogged. I really don't know where or even how to start.
So... With that being said, I will just put up our most recent family picture; here!

Did you notice? Yes! We are expecting our second baby and he is due in February. You read right, we are having another BOY! I have a variety of mixed feelings about having two boys, details and thoughts... coming soon.

I am definitely excited to expand my family! Oh~ and have you noticed all the weight MR. PARK lost?? HAHAHA! he lost 12 kg, that's about 25 lbs, in three months. He went through 4 different suits and changed his wardrobe a couple of times. Annnnnnddddd.... Have you noticed? My baby SJ isn't a baby anymore! He grew so much! He is turning 22 months in tomorrow and I have been having a hard time handling this boy in the last little while. I will come back to that as well in greater detail in the near blogs to come.

And you probably haven't noticed in these pictures, but, we moved to Korea!
KOREA! Yup! You read that right as well! (QUITE A LOT OF SURPRISES & UNEXPECTED DEVELOPMENTS AREN'T THERE?)
Long story short, we are very grateful for all that's happened up to this point and very excited for our future and new start here in Korea.

There were so many changes and challenges to our family in 2013 but I know everything happened the way it was suppose to and it turned out so much better than we thought. 2014 will be a big year for us in every aspect. I am a little nervous and overwhelmed, but that's life isn't it? Life is exciting because there are changes, unexpected changes.

I hope for the best for you too! Happy happy happy New Year everyone!
(... and I will be better at keeping up with the Park's!)

Kauai, Hawaii

Such a beautiful island. I could not stop wowing of everything. It is gorgeous. Breathtaking. We only toured very small portion of the island but we are already loving it! Plus, the hotel we are staying in adds quite a bit to our experience. SJ is struggling with time difference little bit but he is taking short naps here and there to catch up so that is good! Eus and I feel so blessed to be here.

Eus has lots of plans. So I should have a lot more to share with you! Once I take my SD card out and upload photos into my laptop, I will post more photos!

We are safely arrived

ALOHA! Just wanted to let you know, we are in Kauai, Hawaii! There will be photos soon~~

Getting ready for the summer

My first time gardening in my life! Before we start our journey in Korea, we are staying at my in-laws' and that means more people to help according to my father-in-law. He wanted to get all the patio furniture and decorations out of the shed for the backyard. Baby SJ was a huge "help"

Baby SJ was following everywhere where dad went and tried to watch what daddy would do and follow exactly what he did. Funny thing was when I was going everywhere to put night lights along with the garden he seemed not interested at all but when Eus and my father-in-law were fixing the bike or cutting the grass, he was very interested. Boys will be boys.
